A New Era of Luxury Ocean Travel…

Explora Journeys is the ultra-luxury cruise brand launched by the MSC Group, blending Swiss precision with Mediterranean hospitality to create a transformative travel experience. Founded in 2021, the brand is dedicated to immersive, slow-paced travel that connects guests with the ocean, destinations, and cultures in an elegant, yacht-like setting. With all-suite accommodations, world-class dining, and a commitment to wellness and sustainability, Explora Journeys is redefining what luxury cruising means.

Fleet and Ships

Explora Journeys is building six luxury ships designed for spaciousness, elegance, and sustainability. These ships feature private terraces, oceanfront suites, and open-air spaces, offering an intimate, yacht-style cruising experience.

Current Ships (As of January 2026):

  • EXPLORA I (2023) – The debut ship of the fleet, carrying just over 900 guests and offering spacious oceanfront suites, six pools, multiple world-class dining venues, and a holistic wellness-focused onboard experience.
  • EXPLORA II (2024) – A sister ship to EXPLORA I, featuring the same refined European design, enhanced public spaces, and expanded culinary experiences.


Upcoming Ships:

  • EXPLORA III (2026) – The first LNG-powered ship in the fleet, marking a major step forward in sustainable ultra-luxury cruising with next-generation environmental technology.
  • EXPLORA IV (2027) – Another LNG-powered vessel, continuing the brand’s commitment to eco-conscious innovation while expanding global itineraries.
  • EXPLORA V (2028) and EXPLORA VI (2029) – Future additions set to introduce even more advanced sustainability features, larger public spaces, and the next evolution of Explora’s refined ocean journeys.
